I. General
Your access to and use of this site is subject to the following Legal Terms. Please read these Legal Terms carefully before accessing or using the site, so that you fully understand your rights and responsibilities. BY ACCESSING OR USING THE SITE, YOU SIGNIFY YOUR AGREEMENT WITH THESE LEGAL TERMS.

THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THESE LEGAL TERMS AT ANY TIME. IF WE DECIDE TO CHANGE THE LEGAL TERMS, WE WILL POST ANY CHANGES ON THIS WEB SITE. In consideration of your use of and access to this web site, and the promises and obligations in these Legal Terms, and intending to be legally bound, you and THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS hereby agree to all of the terms and conditions of these Legal Terms. X. Interpretation and Disputes
These Legal Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to any conflict of law’s provisions. All disputes under this Agreement that cannot be resolved by the parties shall be submitted to arbitration in San Diego County, California under the rules and regulations of the American Arbitration Association. Either party may invoke this paragraph after providing 30 days written notice to the other party. The dispute(s) arising under this Agreement shall be decided by a panel of three arbitrators with each party hereto selecting one arbitrator and the two selected arbitrators to choose the third arbitrator. An arbitrator sitting in any arbitration arising hereunder shall not have the authority or power to modify or alter any express condition or provision of this Agreement or to render any award which by its terms has the effect of altering or modifying any express condition or provisions hereof. All costs of arbitration shall be divided equally between the parties. Any award may be enforced by a court of law. User agrees that, regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arises or will be forever barred.

GUIDELINES FOR ADVERTISING MEMBERSHIP IN THE AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS OF FACIAL ESTHETICS (INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS)

Announcing and Advertising Membership in the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS

All INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS members in good standing will be allowed to announce and advertise their membership in the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS as governed by the following guidelines:

1. A “member in good standing” is defined as a member who has signed and returned his/her membership application or dues renewal statement, confirming the member’s commitment to abide by the terms and conditions of the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS as well as INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS policies and decisions of duly constituted boards and committees of the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS, as well as the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS’s Guidelines for Advertising Membership and whose membership dues are current.
2. Those members who have announced and/or advertised their membership in the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS, but have not paid their yearly dues, will be so notified by the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS. If the member’s dues are not paid within 30 days of notification, the appropriate licensing body will be informed of that person’s fraudulent advertising. Likewise, if a non-member announces and/or advertises membership in the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS, both they and the appropriate licensing body will be informed regarding fraudulent advertising. The INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS may, in its discretion, take legal or other action against persons infringing upon its trademarks and illegal use of its logo.
3. All INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS Members may use the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS logo and state that they are members in both announcements and advertising. Since the general public may not be familiar with the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS, it is recommended to spell out “INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS” although it is not required.
4. Since membership in the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS is open to all, membership in itself should not be used as a credential. Therefore, members may not use the letters “INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS” alone after their names, e.g. “John Doe, DDS, INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS.” Members are encouraged to publicize their membership in the appropriate form, e.g. “John Doe, DDS, Member of the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS,” or, better, “John Doe, DDS, Member of the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS.”

Use of the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS Logo

Logos are available from the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS Office. The logos provided for use by the various classes of membership may not be altered in any way. Logos may only be used by members in good standing exactly as is with no alterations. All members in good standing are welcome to use the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS logo. Please note the following guidelines:

1. Logos stating “Fellow,” “Master,” “General Member,” “Associate Member,” and “Accredited Member” are only for use by members who fall into those categories, as listed above.
2. While use of the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS name and logo are permitted in conjunction with announcing membership, the advertisement should not imply that the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS is endorsing, sponsoring or recommending the practice or services offered. The INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS’s name should not be set in a type size larger than that used for the member(s) name(s). The type size utilized should be similar as that used for announcement of membership in other associations such as the American Dental Association.
3. Any misrepresentations or misleading statements are not permitted. If a member’s representation or statements are found to be misleading after 30 days from notification, the appropriate licensing body will be informed of that person’s fraudulent advertising. Likewise, if a non-member misrepresents themselves, both they and the appropriate licensing body will be informed regarding fraudulent advertising. The INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS may, in its discretion, take legal or other action against persons infringing upon its trademarks.
4. Questions regarding the appropriate use of the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS logo should be submitted to the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DENTOFACIAL ESTHETICS Office for review.

 By closing this window and continuing with registration, you certify that you have read, and agree to abide by the IADE Membership Agreement.
