His patents were assigned to Allergan, the manufacturer of Botox. He is the President, founder and lead instructor for Dentox, the teaching body that brought Botox® and dermal fillers into dentistry. He has created protocols and has instructed dentists and physicians in the dental esthetic aspects of peri-oral soft tissue (dermal) fillers for most of the cosmeceutical companies in the USA.
Dr Katz is also the inventor of Oraverse dental anesthetic reversal agent, the Implant GPs drill guidance systems for implantology, the uses of sugar alcohols (Xylitol and Sorbitol) in dental products, and Fulcrum dental wrenches.
